Unlike the colder weather, there are no temperatures that are typically too hot to affect mosquito activity. Insects are just as active during the spring time as they are in the hottest days of the summer. The warmer weather increases the activity for feeding and breeding. The milder weather allows the insect larvae to grow and mature faster. This results in the insects being able to travel further and live longer. Many times you will see unusual insects in your yard because of this.
